Steam Cleaning
Steam cleaning is a hypoallergenic, safe, and a highly effective for sanitizing. Steam use high pressure and temperature to neutralize and evaporate bacteria. It also works well by reducing adhesion to any grime, sugars, oils and other debris. We’ve had success removing tar, glue, spray paint, gum, vomit, and much more. Steam is a very powerful, delicate, and tricky device to use especially when combining with other tools such as chemicals and abrasives to enhance the cleaning process. Steam is also extremely malleable in the right hands, it is one of the few methods that are able to clean vents without removing parts or introducing excessive risk by injecting chemicals into the ventilation system. Automotive steam cleaning requires working in tight spaces with electronics, screens, aged materials, and is one step out of several in the automotive decontamination process. Steam is like fire, it can be powerful in the hands of a welder or blacksmith, but may be uncontrollable like wildfire to a novice. This can lead to damaged electronics, mold, melted screens, melted or chipped paint, and warped plastics – all of which are expensive to repair as they require parts + professional labour to repair.
Extraction
Extraction combines 3 essential elements for heavy duty stain removal – high moisture content, temperature, and suction rate. By optimizing these three elements synergistically, extraction provides consistent, efficient, and a safe level of deep cleaning in a class of its own. Commercial extractors not only provide the right level of adaptive-consistency in operation, but are also specially engineered to work on and not damage automotive-grade fabrics and leather upholstery. Like any good detailer, extraction combined with proper cleaning solutions will effectively penetrate and lift stains to the surface for gentle removal. Customers will usually notice a difference colour after the extraction process because several layers of body oils, oxidation, and grime are removed (example in photo).
Premium Hand Wash
It sounds simple, that’s probably why it’s the most often overlooked and underperformed. The two largest contributors of scratches are from road debris (out of our control) and wash application (in our control). A simple, yet effective hand wash will significantly reduce damage to a vehicle’s finish. Preventing is easier than repairing. During application, recognizing what a contaminated wash mitt feels like, having the right lather consistency, and appropriate drying time (soap becomes acidic when it dries) is essential to ensuring your hand wash effectively removes contamination without damage the finish.
Ceramic Coatings
Ceramic coating combines all the elements of detailing – cleaning, removing blemishes, and protection. Scientifically proven and measured on the mohs hardness scale, ceramic coatings reliably reach 9H and 10H – equivalent and surpassing the strength of drill bits and diamonds to provide long-term protection. Currently, ceramic coating provides leading-edge durability, repellence to debris, hydrophobicity, ease-of-maintenance, and long-term cost savings. We use a commercial-grade ceramic coating that is not available for off-the-shelf consumers. We’ve tried several consumer and commercial-grade ceramic coatings and have hand selected the one that provides the best durability, longevity, and slickest protection without sacrificing it’s ability for application to ensure the best results.
